I bought this app and it doesn’t open. I dont’ know if it’s my computer or what. Dont’ buy this app!

Ripped off for $7. Assumed they would have fixed it in the last 5 months. I was wrong.

I was pretty nervous about downloading this app, after reading all the negative reviews, yet I followed the instructions from one of the earlier reviews and I was able to get the app working in about 2 minutes - I really like the fact that I can watch my podcasts in a smaller window while doing other things on my Macbook Air.

Couple of issues I would like development to review: 1.) If you click the app in the menubar on a non-primary monitor (not laptop), the menu shows on the primary monitor. This isn’t the case for other menubar apps. 2.) On the main screen, when you click the search box for “My Podcasts”, the search icon moves to the left and the box doesn’t gain focus. It appears disabled. When you try to type the “beep” goes off. I’m not sure if it’s because I have less than a screen’s height of content to search through but the placeholder text seems misleading. A notification or popup indicating why I can’t use it would be nice. 3.) On the main screen, if you click “+” and choose either “Search Engine” or “Add RSS Feed”, the search bar or textfield of the next screen doesn’t get auto-focus on load. Since this is the obvious behavior, it would be nice to see it automated. 4.) When using “Search Engine”, please show results in a table format with checkboxes so that multiple selections can be done at once without searching again. 5.) Consider a pop-out window for Video podcasts that can be moved around the screen (including a 2nd screen) and capable of being translucent so it’s not too distracting. This will increase the value of watching video podcasts with this app. 6.) Consider moving the “Add RSS Feed” textfield to the menulet app rather than a separate window. Application can add and load podcasts effectively. Preferences have a good amount of features but not overwhelming. Option to search for podcasts and accept RSS feed is great. With Bartender, menu icons don’t clog up my menu bar and I find this a nice addition. Thank you to the developer. Please see my notes above to increase the quality of the app. App is capable of showing video podcasts.

This app does not work! I would like my money back!!!

I don’t know what the other reviewer is talking about. After downloading, it asks you where you would like to keep your saved podcasts, and then disappears to the top menu screen. Just because it is not shown in the bottom dock does not mean that it is not “working”. Anyway, I clicked on its icon (a stylized person/mic with two waves around the head) where it sits in the top menu bar and used the included search engine (you click the + button at the bottom right of the pop-down) to find some interesting podcasts. The search function was very fast and I easily found what I was looking for; I was surprised and happy to find podcasts for my interests, given that they aren’t common. Double clicking on the title of the podcast allowed me to see the episode titles and select episodes for playing. It is also useful to use the “top podcasts by category” option, as it was easier for me to find podcasts I’ve listened to in the past but couldn’t remember the name of. Overall, the app is excellent for finding many different podcasts from different sources and listening to them in one spot. There’s no hassle like there is using iTunes or other tools online, so I am glad I downloaded it. I don’t normally listen to podcasts on my Mac because of the hassle involved, so I thank the developers for making this app to cut out the work. I’ve never been able to download and start listening to podcasts so fast and I appreciate the different speed options as well as the sound quality.

Works fine on iPhone but not on iMac. Won’t even open. How do I get a refund for this POS?

Bought the app, doesn’t open. At all. Bullsh*t, I want my money back. The ‘help’ website is junk, too. What a f*cking waste of $5.

Ordered because a friend who uses on iphone loved it, but would not open for me on my Mac.

Wow, the reviews were right. I just threw my $5 right down the drain too! It looks like the same app as the podcast app that comes with iphone, so I trusted it.

It works! Granted, it does take a little patience and guidance. For the guidance go to the, ALL VERSIONS review (5-19-15). Follow K2568’s simple instructions, and you’ll find success. I wasn’t successful right away. There was some trial and error; remember to be patient with yourself. In the end, I was able to download and save in the folder podcasts from Storycorp and The Moth. This is exactly what I wanted. Now I can explore other areas. I gave a four star (it’s good) rating because it is. But I do think the negative reviews are warranted. One, the program IS NOT fast. Two, we should not need K2568 to guide us through it. We didn’t pay K2568. We payed the owners of the program. So they have a responsibilty to make the process more transparent. Well, bless K2568 for doing their work for them. These podcasts will be giving me pleasure long after I’ve passed my last cup $5-achino.

I just bought this app and it wont let me open it on my MAC. Thats the only reason why I bought it because it thought it was like the FREE one that comes with your iPhone. This company should be investigated for misleading consumers. Complete waste of my money, I feel like I got hustled.
